John Denman

President & CEO

John Denman serves as President & CEO of Renaissance. With over 30 years in the healthcare industry, he has extensive strategic, operational and senior management experience including serving as Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, Mr. Denman was Director of Customer Operations at Sandoz, Inc.

Robert Harrer


Robert Harrer serves as the CFO of Renaissance. He has over 25 years of experience in financial management, with a strong operational focus in the specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical industry. Previously, he served as CFO at Avantor and Innophos, and held various financial leadership positions at Rohm and Haas. He is a member of the board of directors of KMG Chemicals.

Mr. Harrer received his master of business administration and mathematics from Albert Einstein University in Ulm, Germany.

Alain Carrier


Alain Carrier joined Renaissance in November 2012 after spending 8 years at Sandoz and Sabex. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Development and Registration for the global development center for sterile products based in Canada. Under his leadership, the Sandoz Center of Excellence filed nearly 100 ANDA’s, many being Paragraph IV patent certifications and first to files. Mr. Carrier also acted as Functional Lead of the global analytical development team.

Prior to his tenure at Sandoz, Mr. Carrier held senior scientific positions at Caprion Pharmaceuticals, RTP Pharma, and Phoenix International Life Sciences.

Mr. Carrier has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Montreal.

Brenda Vesey


Brenda Vesey serves as the VP – CHRO for Renaissance.  She has over 25 years of experience in HR across multiple industries.  She has served on a number of Executive Leadership teams and has held a variety of HR leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry including roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Allergan, Actavis, and Alpharma.  Prior to that she worked for Toys “R” Us and Chase Manhattan Corporation.   While at Chase she worked in both Financial Operations and Human Resources.

Brenda is a graduate of Siena College in Loudonville, NY, where she earned a B.S. degree in Economics.

Julie Simon

VP, Business Development

Julie Simon serves as the VP of Business Development for Renaissance. She has over 15 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a history of success in identifying & executing unique business opportunities, organizational transformation, and value creation. Ms. Simon previously held leadership positions with Ben Venue/Bedford Laboratories, Akorn, APP/Abraxis, Bioniche Pharma and Mylan. Her experience spans commercial, operational and technical verticals, with focus on Business Development, M&A, Commercial Operations, R&D, Strategic Sourcing and Quality.

Antonio Di Nicola

Plant Manager

Antonio Di Nicola serves as the Plant Manager of the Renaissance Lakewood sterile manufacturing facility, and has over 28 years of experience in managing and directing functional teams engaged in the aseptic manufacturing process of parenterals. His successes include managing and implementing several initiatives to increase efficiencies and plant productivity.

Before joining Renaissance, Mr. Di Nicola has held positions of increased responsibility, which include Director of Operations at West-Ward Pharmaceuticals, Associate Director of Manufacturing at Baxter Healthcare, and Manager of Product Compliance at Wyeth-Ayerst.

Bob Rodowicz

Sr. Director, Commercial Operations

Bob Rodowicz serves as Sr. Director, Commercial Operations where he is responsible for the commercial infrastructure and customer relationships to grow the US generic business at Renaissance. Prior to joining Renaissance, Bob held increasing Sales and Marketing roles at Micro Labs, Dr. Reddy’s, Zydus, and Sandoz that have helped him develop a well-balanced mindset and understanding of the ever-changing US generic marketplace.

William J. Graham

Sr. Director, Quality Systems

William J. Graham serves as the Sr. Director, Quality Systems for Renaissance, and has over 30 years of experience in managing and directing functional and cross functional teams engaged in the aseptic manufacturing process of parenterals. He has extensive experience with aseptic processing, validations, quality systems, compliance inspections and manufacturing.

Before joining Renaissance, Bill was the Sr. Director of Quality Operations, Director of Technical Services and Director of Manufacturing with Wyeth, Baxter Healthcare and West-Ward Pharmaceuticals.
